Solving Apple's text message problems

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Former iPhone users who have switched to non-Apple devices now have a way to access their text messages.

Many users who changed to other devices complained their text messages were being withheld.

To correct the problem, former users should enter their phone number on Apple's website. They will be texted a code.

Enter the code and iMessage service that prohibited you from getting texts will be cancelled. That should allow texts to go to the new phone.
