Police said a man was walking on West 14th Street-- when a vehicle drove by him, then turned around and fired multiple gunshots at him.

The man was shot in the leg and is at UF Health receiving medical treatment, according to JSO.

There were multiple witnesses and they are all being cooperative and speaking to police.

Police said there was a separate shooting at an unknown location and that person is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The person has gunshot wounds and is in critical condition.

Police have not talked to the two victims that were shot, because they are both in the operating room at the hospital.

JSO said that they have no reason to believe that the two shootings were related.

Police do not have suspect information and are not sure if these incidents are gang-related.
