JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Special Olympics Florida held its area 5 championship at Atlantic Coast High School Saturday.
Athletes from Nassau, Clay, St. Johns, Putnam, Flagler, Volusia and Duval counties took part

Over 1,000 Special Olympians compete in 12 different sports in Duval County. Special Olympics provides year-round sports training and competition to children and adults 8 years of age and older with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
