STARKE, Fla. – A 19-year-old Starke man was arrested early Wednesday morning on drug charges.
Starke police said they served a warrant at the LAK Apartments in the 800 block of North Temple Avenue about 4:40 a.m.

Denario Lewis was arrested after police said they found 7.9 grams of crack cocaine, 33.2 grams of powder cocaine, a plastic bag of marijuana and 3 marijuana cigarettes with a total weight of 3.8 grams, and some prescription medication not prescribed to Lewis.
Lewis had an arrest warrant for possession of cocaine, sale of cocaine and maintaining a public nuisance where drugs are being sold. The bond for the arrest warrant was set at $150.000.
Additional charges filed against Lewis as a result of the search warrant are possession of cocaine, possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana, and two counts of possession of prescription medication without a prescription.
A woman also in the apartment was interviewed and released.
