Stolen vehicle crashes; driver found with cannabis

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – A man is under arrest after police say he crashed a stolen car into another and then was found with two grams of marijuana in his pocket.

A Gainesville officer saw a car run a red light. Before the officer could try to initiate a traffic stop, he noticed the driver of the car jumped from it, while the vehicle was still moving. The car continued several feet before it collided with a parked vehicle.

The officer started to chase the driver and asked him to stop.

Terrell Durr, 25, was arrested. Police say he was found with cannabis in his pocket.

Investigators say the vehicle Durr was driving was stolen.
