Student driver hit by truck hauling toilets

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – A teenager taking a driving test with an instructor was T-boned by a  truck hauling two portable toilets on Wednesday, according to the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office.

The accident happened at the intersection of San Sebastian View and Lewis Speedway.

The student and instructor were taken to Flagler Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The truck, which hit the passenger side of the other vehicle, went off the road almost into the San Sebastian River. The truck driver was not injured, according to authorities.
