Summer Movie Classics Series releases this year's schedule

Series returns to Florida Theatre in June with 10 movies

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The annual Summer Movie Classics Series is returning to the Florida Theatre in June.

This year's theme is anniversaries: from 25 years ago ("Batman" and "Field of Dreams") to 75 years ago ("The Wizard of Oz").

From June 29 through Aug. 31, a classic movie will be shown at the historic Florida Theatre in downtown Jacksonville every Sunday at 2 p.m. (See the full schedule below.)

Tickets are $7.50 each but patrons can purchase a Summer Movie Classics Admission Card for $45 that's good for 10 admissions. The card can be used for multiple admissions to any movie or for a single admission to all 10 movies in the series.

Aug. 17: Viva Las Vegas (50th Anniversary)

Aug. 24: Field of Dreams (25th Anniversary)

Aug. 31: Goldfinger (50th Anniversary)
