Investigators said that on Monday they received forensic evidence that positively linked Locus to an April 2011 case where he forced his way into a home in the 1200 block of Southwest First Avenue with a knife and raped a female student at knife point. Police said Locus then stole her personal electronics and fled the area.

When Locus was arrested, he had property on him that was stolen from another recent occupied residential burglary in the 1100 block of Southwest First Avenue, police said.

After his arrest, Locus took investigators to a stash of property that is likely stolen from numerous burglaries in the area, police said. They said information is still being collected in the other unsolved cases.

Police said Locus is also considered a person of interest in the recent Southwest 10th Street armed residential burglary and sexual battery of a University of Florida student.
