Thousands of baby cradles recalled for multiple hazards

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Consumer Product Safety Commission has a recall alert for parents. Thousands of baby cradles are being recalled over multiple problems that could put a child in danger.

The recall affects Dream On Me, Inc. 2-in-1 Bassinet to Cradle. The CPSC issued the recall after receiving reports of fall and suffocation hazards. Dream On Me said there was one incident in which a wire frame failed, and the fabric portion of the bassinet collapsed while an infant was sleeping in the cradle.

About 13,000 cradles are affected by this recall.

-439-P
-439-W

The bassinet is sold in several colors, including pink, blue, green, and white.
