Tom Shed is holding a concert to benefit the Jacksonville Historical Society on Saturday.

The concert delivers a musical look at our lives, history and the world around us.  The 1901 Jacksonville Fire, a Live Oak murder and a hunter lost in Gulf Hammock are subjects of Shed's music.

He's returning to his hometown of Jacksonville for his first concert in 20 years.

"A couple of song circles are all I have performed in Jacksonville.  My concert has never been performed here," said Shed.

The concert features songs from Shed's newest album, "Mama's Goin' Out."

Music styles include big band, country, jazz and folk music.

The concert will be held on Saturday, January 18th from 8-10 p.m. at Jacksonville Historical Society headquarters.  It's located at Old St. Andrews at 317 A. Randolph Blvd.

Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
