Town Center CVS robber sought by police

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying a man who robbed a CVS store at the St. Johns Town Center early Friday morning.

Police said the man went into the store at 4893 Town Center Parkway about 12:30 a.m., walked to the register and handed an employee a note demanding money. The man indicated he had a gun, but never displayed a firearm, police said.

The employee complied, and the man left the store, police said. He was last seen walking west across Gate Parkway into a wooded area across the street from the store.

The man was described as white with a mustache and was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with white writing and blue jeans.
