Trader Joe's is recalling its sweet Apple Chicken Sausage.
The retailer says there could be small pieces of plastic in it. The company said it was alerted to the problem by its supplier.

The products affected have a label marked with the "use of freeze by" date codes of:
April 22, 2015
April 25, 2015
April 29, 2015
The sausage packages have been removed from store shelves.
If you have this product with any of those dates stamped on it, Trader Joe's is urging you to throw it away or take it back to the store where you got it.
