According to Florida Highway Patrol, Herbert Caponi, 73, was on Moody Avenue and tried to make a left turn at the railroad tracks. FHP says Caponi's tire got stuck on the tracks, so he got out of the car.

Troopers say Brian Hayes was driving a CSX train along the tracks when he saw the car on the tracks.  He told officials he tried to break but was unable to stop in time and the train hit the back of the car.

No one was injured. Caponi, of Upper St. Clair, Penn., was charged with failure to obey a traffic device.

The crash caused the road to be blocked for a period of time.
