JACKSONVILLE, Fl. – Two people are recovering after a shooting during an armed robbery late Tuesday night on the Westside.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office says, two adult brothers were standing outside a unit at Westgate Apartments on East La Ventura Drrive about 11 p.m. when two males approached and demanded money at gunpoint.

Police say a teenager heard the commotion and came to the door of the apartment. At that point officers say shots were fired, hitting the teenager and one of the brothers.
Both were taken to UF Health Jacksonville with non-life-threatening injuries and are expected to be OK.
Robbery detectives were investigating case and trying to determine if there any sort of relationship between victims and suspects.
