A British woman tried to sue her divorce attorneys, claiming they failed to properly explain to her that getting a divorce would end her marriage.
Jane Mulcahy argued her lawyers did not make it clear to her that divorcing her now ex-husband would cause the marriage to be terminated, the Independent reported.
A Roman Catholic, she believed her attorneys should have recommended "judicial separation" instead -- a step down from divorce in England.
Lord Justice Michael Briggs dismissed the case, and then the appeal as well, according to the Daily Mail.
No word on what Mr. Mulcahy had to say about the matter.
