The U.S. Postal Service is getting ready for the holidays by extending its hours.
USPS is going to deliver packages seven days a week in select major cities starting Nov. 29.
The Postal Service expects to deliver 15.5 billion packages and pieces of mail this holiday season. It predicts it'll deliver 600 million packages between Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve.
To help with the holiday rush, USPS planned to hire 30,000 employees for the season.
