USPS mail van and car involved in crash

No one seriously injured

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

A United States Postal Service van and Nissan Maxima collided in Downtown Jacksonville on Monday morning.

The mail van was heading eastbound on Beaver Street and a Nissan Maxima was heading northbound on Broad Street. 

Both drivers said they had a green light, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.  It's investigating the crash.

The mail van overturned but neither driver was seriously injured.  They were taken to a hospital as a precaution.

Beaver St. and Broad St. were closed while JSO worked to clear the crash.
