A young girl thought she found the ultimate hide-and-seek location.

However, it ended with a call to 9-1-1.

She got stuck in a washing machine.

Nichole Rhoades got a phone call from her older daughter.

Rhoades says she could hear screaming in the background.

The girl's friends tried using butter and ice to get her out.

It didn't work.

Rhoades says medics had to bring an assortment of tools to pry the girl out.

"The got some gas power tools out. Some big snips -- to get people out of cars," Rhoades says as she describes the scene.

"They were thinking they were going to have to cut down the middle of the washer, and open it up to get her out."

Instead, crews were able to remove the dryer above.

Rhoades says they only had to cut a small corner in the back of the machine, allowing them to get the washing machine door all the way open.

Rhoade's daughter got out a bit distress, bruised and embarrassed, but otherwise fine.
