JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has just identified a man whose family reported him missing and who was found dead Tuesday afternoon inside his apartment on Bert Road.
According to police, 63-year-old Roosevelt Fluellen was found dead inside his apartment after family members called police and expressed concern that they hadn't seen or heard from him in days.

JSO Sgt. Craig Waldrup said that Fluellen's 2010 silver Nissan Cube was also missing, and they suspect foul play in his death.
Neighbors like Ricardo Edmonson were stunned to hear about Fluellen's death.
"It makes you kind of uneasy being so close to home," Edmonson said. "Hopefully we'll get some answers, and they'll be in my prayers."
Waldrup said no suspect information was available, but the death is being investigated as a homicide.
