ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – The daughter who's been named a person of interest in her mother's killing earlier this year has been arrested in a domestic dispute.

Lilly Chavez and her fiance Leighton Dockery are both charged with domestic battery after an incident early Sunday morning at their home in Elkton, according to the St. Johns County Sheriff's Office.

According to an arrest report, the two got into an argument after Dockery discovered Chavez was packing his belongings. They threw water at each other, and she hit him in the back of the head with a statue, deputies said.

They said Dockery pushed Chavez onto the floor and kicked her.

Dockery is also charged with battery for assaulting a second, unnamed person in the house who tried to break it up, deputies said.

Chavez is a person of interest in the death of Barbara Parchem.

Parchem, 67, disappeared on April 6 from her home. Her body was found weeks later in a wooded area in St. Johns County.
