Walgreens robber sought by police

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police in Jacksonville are trying to identify a man who robbed a Walgreens on the Northside earlier this month.

Investigators said the man went into the story at 11135 Lem Turner Road about 6:45 p.m. Dec. 6 and walked to the front counter.

The man waited until the cashier opened the register, pulled out a handgun, pointed it at the cashier's head and ordered the cashier to lie on the ground, police said.

The cashier did and the man grabbed cash from the register, then fled the store on foot, police said.
