Fairgoers hold up collapsed roller coaster

Seven children rescued

(LAKANA) – When a roller coaster ride carrying children collapsed, bystanders sprung into action by holding the coaster up at a Georgia fair.

The group of bystanders rescued the seven children on the ride when it fell, ABC News reports.

The ride remained closed after the incident, and the state fire commissioner called for the re-inspection of all the rides at the Bartow County Fair.

This is why you don't ride the fair rides! This roller coaster almost fell over with kids on it!!!!!! If it wasn't for some quick adults, this would have ended a lot worse. I am still shaking. My child was not on it thankfully. Nobody was hurt, a lot of scared little kids. This ride was being balanced and held up by boards.
