Police search for Westside bank robber

Surveillance images show robber still on the loose

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man robbed the TD Bank in the 4500 block of San Juan Avenue around 9:45 a.m. Saturday before fleeing the scene, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said.

The robber demanded money from the teller and climbed over the counter before leaving the bank with the money, authorities said.

Witnesses told JSO the man never displayed a weapon. He was last seen traveling east on San Juan Avenue toward Roosevelt Boulevard.

He is described as a white or Hispanic man who is around 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing about 160 pounds with short, salt-and-pepper hair.
