Westside bank robber sought by police

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man is being sought after robbing a bank on the Westside on Monday morning.

Jacksonville police said the man went into 121 Financial Credit Union at 8100 Normandy Blvd. about 10:30 a.m. and handed a teller a note demanding money.

No weapon was seen and no one was hurt.

The robber fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

He was described as a white man, 25-32 years old, between 5 feet 5 and 5 feet 8 inches tall, and between 120 and 130 pounds. He was unshaven, with sandy blonde hair, and was wearing a blue ball cap, surfer shades, black sweatshirt, grey T-shirt, blue baggy jeans and Vans shoes.
