Westside CVS robbed Saturday night

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Police have released photos of the man they say held up the CVS pharmacy on San Juan Avenue on Saturday evening, and the pickup truck he used to drive away from the robbery.

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, a balding white man in his late 30s to early 40s entered the business at 9:24 p.m., told the clerk he had a gun and demanded money. He took the cash and left, getting into a dark Chevrolet pickup with a primer-gray hood.

The suspect was described as 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighing 150-170 pounds. He was unshaven, wearing a black shirt and blue jean shorts.

Anyone with information about the robber or who recognizes the man on vehicle in the photos is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS. Callers can remain anonymous and be eligible for a cash reward.
