Woman, 18 arrested in Palm Coast home invasion

Woman allegedly threatened to kill ex-boyfriend, another girl

PALM COAST, Fla. – An 18-year-old Palm Coast woman was arrested Saturday afternoon and charged with unlawfully entering her ex-boyfriend's home on Senseney Path.

The Flagler County Sheriff's office says Kaitlin McBride threatened her ex-boyfriend and his girlfriend with a knife. Police say McBride told them she went to the home just before 4 a.m. to pick up her cat and a video game.

Her ex-boyfriend and his girlfriend were asleep at the time. Police say McBride jumped in the bed and punched the girlfriend and threatened her. McBride then left in a white Chevrolet Cavalier.

As police were heading to the residence, a deputy noticed a car matching the description of one used in the incident. The deputy made a U-turn and pulled over McBride on State Road 100.

While police were questioning McBride they found the cat, a video game and a knife on the front passenger side floorboard. McBride was arrested and charged with robbery, home invasion with a deadly weapon, battery and petit theft.
