In March 2012, Blake and co-defendant Enrique Pajaro arranged to meet Scott at Blake's home to get high. After Scott passed out from using drugs, Blake and Pajaro stole the drugs, smoked them and then attacked the victim in his sleep.

Scott tried to defend himself, but Blake and Pajaro repeatedly beat him with a hammer and choked him to death.

Scott's 3-year-old daughter was in the home at the time of the attack.

Pajaro was convicted in May and sentenced to life without parole plus five years in prison on the same charges.

Blake now faces life in prison. She will be sentenced next week.
