A 63-year-old St. Augustine woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 Thursday morning, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
State troopers said Anita Perenta was driving northbound in the middle lane at mile marker 325 about 6:50 a.m.
Troopers said for unknown reasons, Perenta swerved right, then spun onto the grass shoulder. Her car's left side struck two trees.
Perenta was taken to UF Health Jacksonville, where she died.
Troopers said Perenta was wearing a seat belt.
