DAYTONA BEACH SHORES, Fla. – A 60-year-old woman fell to her death while decorating the balcony of her 12th-floor condo in Daytona Beach Shores, police said.
Daytona Beach Shores police said Debra Smith was decorating Sunday evening at her home at 2555 S. Atlantic Avenue when she fell. Police said a chair was found near the balcony.

Smith's 80-year-old husband, who has medical issues, was home at the time, according to police.
A death investigation is ongoing, police said.
