Woman in critical after accident on Regency Boulevard

Woman cut out of car after losing control

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – One woman is in critical condition after a car accident in Arlington.

At 7:56 p.m. on Wednesday evening officers responded to 9560 Regency Boulevard North in reference to single car accident, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.

JSO said a woman was traveling eastbound on Regency Boulevard at a high rate of speed when she lost control of her car.

Her car went through some trees and landed in a Steak & Shake parking lot behind the Regency Square Mall.

The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department used the Jaws of Life to cut her out of her car.

The woman was taken to UF Health with life-threatening injuries.
