BRADFORD COUNTY, Fla. – A woman is in critical condition after being ejected from her vehicle Tuesday evening.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Zona Sue Welch, 50, of Brooker, was driving her Toyota Rav4 south of Southwest County Road 796 when for unknown reasons she traveled off the road onto the shoulder and struck a culvert.

Troopers said Welch's vehicle then continued into a ditch, overturned multiple times and struck a barbwire fence before coming to a stop on its right side.
FHP said at some point Welch was ejected from her vehicle. She was taken to UF Health Gainesville, where she is in critical condition.
