JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A 43-year-old woman was killed in a head-on crash on the Westside on Thursday morning.
The crash happened at Devoe Street and Cahoon Road, near Interstate 10 and just west of Interstate 295, about 8:40 a.m.

Jacksonville police said a Pontiac van was heading east on Devoe and a white Honda car was heading west. Police said for unknown reasons, the van drifted into the other lane and hit the Honda head-on.
There was a curve in the road at that point.
A man in the van was taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center in non-life-threatening condition.
Wendy Wilburn, the woman in the Honda, was taken to UF Health Jacksonville, where she died.
Police said their investigation is ongoing.
