FHP says driver swerved to avoid slower vehicle that pulled onto road

ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – The Florida Highway Patrol says a 27-year-old woman died Tuesday morning when she swerved to avoid a slower vehicle that pulled onto U.S. 1 and her pickup truck overturned.

According to the FHP report, Danielle Reeves was heading south just past Wildwood Drive when steered her Chevrolet Avalanche to the right to avoid the slower vehicle and went onto the shoulder of the road, then overcorrected, putting the vehicle into spin and overturn.  Troopers say she was ejected onto the road.
