Woman sought in theft of wallet, use of credit cards

CLAY COUNTY, Fla. – Deputies in Clay County are trying to identify a woman in connection with the theft of a wallet.

Deputies said the wallet was stolen from an older woman's purse while she was shopping and possibly distracted by the woman seen in surveillance photos.

The victim's credit card was then used at various locations by the woman to purchase more than $1,000 in items, deputies said.
