Manata had worked for Vista since 2013 and was responsible for paying vendors who did business with the company.

She took 42 checks originally meant for vendors, and changed the name on the checks to her own, cashing or depositing most of them.

In total, the checks added up to $521,462.81

Detectives were able to recover some of the money during their investigation, but Manata was ordered to repay the remainder.
