A woman used an app to help police track down items that had been stolen from her.
The Daytona Beach News-Journal reports Theresa Conroy used a tracking app on her iPhone to track down the location of her iPad.
The iPad was one of the many things the Daytona Police say Conroy and her son woke up to find missing from their vehicles.
Police say someone also stole beer, t-shirts, a bag and flip-flops.
She remembered her sister had similar situation where her sister used a tracking app to find the missing items. Conroy decided to give it a chance and used the app on iPhone.
She was able to find the the exact location of her iPad, leading her to contact the Daytona Beach Police.
The police went to the house of 19 year-old Tyron Stokes. Authorities asked Stokes to search the house, but he refused.
Police had to get a search warrant to search his house for the stolen iPad. They found it in the garage wall in a hole.
Authorities have charged him with three counts of burglary along with possession of a Schedule IV substance.
