Picking the perfect gift for newlyweds can be really tough, even if they have a registry!

If you need some help, Kiplinger just released their list of the worst wedding gifts to give to couples.
It includes art or home décor because it can be hard to know the couple's tastes.
Monogrammed linens are another because you might pick colors that don't match the other things a couple has. And since they're monogrammed, they can't be returned or exchanged.
You should also avoid homemade items because it also might not suit the couples tastes.
Finally, they suggest you stay away from humorous gifts because it's easy to make other people uncomfortable if you go too far.
