Man To Stand Trial In Stabbing Of Brother

WOODBINE, Ga. -- A jury was seated to hear the trial of Kelvin Williams on charges he stabbed his younger brother to death during a pickup basketball game. Opening statements are scheduled to begin on Wednesday.
Williams, 20, is accused of murder in the February 19, 2006, stabbing of 17-year-old Sean Williams in Kingsland.
Kingsland police said the brothers were arguing over who was the better basketball player when Kelvin Williams pulled a knife.
Sean Williams was flown to Shands-Jacksonville Medical Center, where he died. Kelvin Williams was arrested and charge with family-violence homicide. He is being prosecuted as felony murder.
Williams' trial is taking place at the Camden County Courthouse in Woodbine.
