FBI Posts Alert For Georgia Jail Escapee

SAVANNAH, Ga. -- The FBI has issued an alert for an armed robbery suspect who escaped from a Georgia jail and is deemed armed and dangerous.The FBI said 18-year-old Kiri Datron Lovett fled on Tuesday from the Wheeler County Jail, about 80 miles west of Savannah. Local authorities did not release any details about the escape.
A federal warrant was issued Wednesday in Savannah charging Lovett with conspiracy to use, carry and brandish a firearm during a crime of violence.
