Worker Killed In Turner County Mill Accident
A peanut company worker in Ashburn died Monday morning in an accident at the Golden Peanut Co.The Turner County Coroner's Office said 24-year-old Keith Branch, an employee at the peanut processing mill, was pinned between a railroad car and a tractor trailer rig driven by Calvin Prater just before 8 a.m.Branch suffered extensive chest injuries and died at Tift Regional Hospital.The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating.
