Glynn School Superintentent To Pitch Achievement Plan To Governor

BRUNSWICK, Ga. -- Glynn County School Superintendent Michael Bull will meet with Gov. Sonny Perdue Wednesdayto share his new student achievement model called "Making Achievement Gains in Classrooms," or MAGIC.
Bull will show how the student data is displayed online as well as how the specific data helps teachers improve classroom instruction. Bull hopes the meeting may lay the foundations for a pilot program in Glynn County, as well as possible additional funding for the models implementation.
Also participating in the meeting with the governor, Stephen Ballowe, superintendent of the Gainesville city school system and Dean Alford, state board of education member and advisor to Perdue, and Eric Waynick, the software developer who invented the ThinkGate software used to implement the MAGIC model.
