- "We must bring new industry and business to Baker County, adding depth and breadth to our tax base, so that we diversify our revenue stream, and meet the needs of our county. Only industry that will not harm our enviroment or natural resources should be considered.
- "Not raising taxes or imposing assessements on our citizens. Rasing taxes on current citizens will not grow our economy, just as it has not worked on a national level.
- "We must conduct more of the county's business in open public forums. Conduct open meetings, workshops and hearings, in which citizens can hear and see the actions of their elected officials as a board."
