Republicans Diane Hutchings and Jim Renninger got the most votes in a three-way universal primary race in Clay County Commission District 3 and will appear on the General Election ballot.

FAMILY:  Married to Brett Hutchings; daughter, Ashley Hutchings Gilhousen; son, Kyle; 2 grandchildren

OCCUPATION:  Managing director, First Florida Investment Services

EDUCATION:  St. Johns River Junior College; Florida College at Jacksonville

POLITICAL EXPERIENCE:   2 terms on the Green Cove Springs City Council, mayor and vice-mayor; appointed to the Tourism Development Council and the Transportation Advisory Committee
