WHAT DO YOU SEE AS THE TOP THREE ISSUES IN THIS RACE?

  1. "Budget-The last several years, the only way the budget was balanced was to transfer funds from the reserve accounts. The projected shortfall for the next budget is approximately $3 million. No funds should be drawn from reserves or there should be no tax increase until every avenue of cost cutting has been explored. The sitting commissioner should know more about fiscal items than this citizen. Does he have a budget plan?
  2. "Public Confidence - The largest and greatest hurdle facing a County Commissioner today is that people have a growing mistrust of all elected officials and the lack of public confidence in government as a whole.
  3. "Jobs/Employment Opportunities - Promote fair and healthy business atmosphere where both large and small businesses can be a productive and profitable asset for Nassau County."
