JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -

CNN is reporting that Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney will make campaign stops in Jacksonville, Orlando and Miami on Aug. 13 -- the day before the Florida primary.

The Florida swing will be part of a four-day bus tour targeting the biggest media markets in several swing states. While subject to change, the tour will begin Aug. 11 in Virginia and go through North Carolina on the way to Florida.

Sources say the Romney campaign is scouting a site in Ohio for stops later that week. Some within the campaign are speculating that Romney's choice for vice president might be campaigning with him during this tour.

The Republican National Convention that will formally nominate Romney begins in Tampa on Aug. 27.
