Occupation: Candidate for Governor

Education:  I have over 23 years of professional development through my affiliation with the Republican Party of Florida as well as professional occupations in the public relations industry.

Political experience: Being a member and working with the Republican Party of Florida for the past 23 years, I have achieved many successes for different minority groups. I am the Founder of the Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce of Florida, as well as an advocate for eradicating corruption throughout the government. This experience has allowed me to relate to many different populations throughout the state, helping them ensure that trust, family values and accountability are at the forefront of my campaign for Governor.

What do you see as the top three issues in this race?

  • Education: Education has to become the golden rod of progress by giving parents and teachers the responsibility and control of education as lifetime learners. The current state of education throughout Florida leaves children behind and does not allow all students to be successful at an academic level. As Governor, I will make education one of my top priorities and allow all students to be provided educational opportunities no matter their age, geographical location and areas of interest.
  • Homelessness: Homelessness is an often-ignored epidemic, which can simply be diminished by offering people services that include vocational training, housing opportunities and nutritional education. Many Floridians are already living paycheck to paycheck, oftentimes being one paycheck away from homelessness. As Governor, I will provide people with more job opportunities by protecting small businesses from corruption and enforcing new legislation that protects Floridian workers.
  • Human Trafficking: As Governor, my passion is to work closely with the Florida Coalition Against Human Trafficking. Slavery was supposed to end with the 13th Amendment, enacted on December 18, 1865, making all forms of slavery illegal. However, today, there are 2.5 million people throughout the United States that are exploited for prostitution and pornography, involuntary labor and debt bondage. Because Florida is considered a hub for human trafficking, I will protect the citizens from modern day slavery and stolen identities, while increasing security throughout the State of Florida.
