What do you see as the top three issues in this race?

  • Ensuring high quality leadership to continue the focus academic excellence.
  • Reducing over testing of our students.

  • Why should people vote for you?

People should vote for me because for more than 25 years, I have been a proud and active resident of District 4 in St. Johns County. I am impressed by the quality of education our county consistently provides to our students and am dedicated to our community, our children, and their future.  My leadership experience and demonstrated fiscal responsibility as a public servant in both the private and public sector along with my community service expertise will benefit the school system and the taxpayers of St. Johns County.

What do you hope to be remembered for after you leave office?

As I leave office, I want to be remembered as an advocate for our community, fiscally responsible to all tax payers, a supporter of local decision making and digital learning and technology.  I want to leave a legacy that St. Johns County students are the best prepared for college and careers.
