JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Retired Army Major General Donna Barbisch was in Jacksonville on Saturday to give her support to Charlie Crist for governor.
Barbisch hosted an event at the Charlie Crist Headquarters in Springfield. She was here on behalf of veterans, first responders and firefighters of Florida.

Barbisch is talking to voters about the importance of turning out for the Nov. 4 election.
Her career began as a Private First Class in the Army Student Nurses Program, and lasted more than 38 years.
She is on a state-wide tour sponsored by the Democratic National Committee.
