One-Handed Grab Declared 'Smooth Move' Of 2007

Tropical Smoothie Café Presents School With $3,000

There were a lot of incredible plays from the 2007 high school football season, but only one earned the title Smooth Move of the Season.

On Wednesday afternoon, sports director Sam Kouvaris joined a representative from Tropical Smoothie Café to present a check to the principal from Clinch County High School and the student who made the smoothest play of the season.

Clinch County's Carlos Likely made an incredible one-handed interception in the first week of the high school football season.

He grabbed the ball out of the air with one hand and kept his balance to stay in bounds.

Channel 4 viewers voted Likely's interception the best of 11 Smooth Moves. The one-handed catch earned Clinch County High School $3,000.
