After being suspended indefinitely by the NFL, Dallas Cowboys cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones will begin treatment for alcohol use, the Dallas Morning News reported.
According to the newspaper, the NFL required Jones to seek treatment after he was involved in an alcohol-related fight with his bodyguard last week.
The scuffle happened in a bathroom of a Dallas hotel. Police were called to the scene, but the bodyguard -- who was hired by the Cowboys -- did not press charges.
The Cowboys did not suspend Jones for the incident, but NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell took action because, he said, the player violated the league's personal conduct policy.
Jones was suspended for the entire 2007 season for violations of the league's conduct policy. He was reinstated earlier this season.
Jones can apply to be reinstated into the NFL again after four games. According to the Dallas Morning News, the cornerback is working with former Cowboys star Deion Sanders and a friend to begin the process of trying to get back into the league.
